The Glebe Road archival project started at the end of 2024, focusing on identifying, organizing, and preserving the church’s historical records. The primary goal of this phase was to identify and arrange a large and varied body of material so that it can be easily retrieved and used in the future. Most of the archival items have now been identified and arranged into a clear and logical system, laying a strong foundation for long-term stewardship of Glebe’s history.
From the Glebe Archives: A recipe from the 1972 church cookbook written by the Women of Glebe Road United Church in Toronto, ON, Canada. The recipe features lime green Jello, horseradish, onions and pineapple. Jello salads were inexplicably popular in the 1970s. New recipes shared every month.
