February Recap
Below are some of the happenings at Glebe Road United Church in February 2026 (and one Saturday in March!
Stained Glass Workshop
We had a great group come out for the inaugural Art of Lent series with a make your own faux stained glass workshop. Participants had a great time creating some fabulous art. If you were unable to participate but would like to in the future stay tuned for a repeat of the workshop in May.
Some of the stained glass projects created during the workshop:

Gold Medal Hockey Game
On Sunday the 22nd Glebers and friends joined in the Gym to cheer on team Canada in the Men’s hockey gold medal game. With plenty of coffee, food and conversation we cheered and we groaned especially at the over-time loss. We will see you hopefully again in four years when we bring home the gold.
Thank you to everyone for coming out!

Hark Ensemble Concert
On Saturday evening we welcomed performers from the Hark Ensemble with special guest Jason Fowler for their debut concert. The audience was entertained by a wide variety of genres from the classical to the contemporary with a rousing encore of the traditional hymn Will the Circle be Unbroken?. Audience members were invited post concert for some sweet treats and our Glebe hospitality. Many thanks to the performers and those who helped make this 2nd installment of our Art of Lent series a success!
