Summers have been hot the last few years and weather predictions for this and future summers suggest that temperatures are only going to heat up making our little church on Glebe virtually unusable in Summer.
We have investigated cooling systems and have determined that a heat pump cooling system costing in the range of $60,000 – $70,000 would adequately cool the building.
Glebe does not have the resources to fund such an expensive project on its own so we are embarking on a fundraising project, asking all users of the building to contribute.
We are fortunate that a sponsor, on condition of anonymity, has come forward pledging to match 50% of congregation contributions to the Glebe Heat Pump fund to a maximum of $7,000. So, if members of our congregation contribute $7,000 to the Heat Pump Fund by May 31st, the benefactor will contribute $3,500 for a total of $10,500.

We will issue a tax receipt to you after the year-end for the total donations that are greater than $10 dollars. Please provide your name and address which is needed for us to issue the tax receipt. You can make your contribution by:
